Wildflower Diary - 22nd July Weeding behind the shed when a ladybird parked on my hand and wouldn’t shift. I admired its confidence. Started a list titled “Things I Might Still Do.” First item: own a bench with my name on it. Also: take a train somewhere for no reason, and wear perfume to the post office. The fourth item got smudged with teacake. Possibly for the best. Maureen says she’ll pick me up Friday for the hat verdict. I’m preparing my face.
