Wildflower Diary - 10th July

This morning, the beetroot had shifted. Not dramatically —
just enough to suggest it had opinions.

The courgette has made a break
for the runner beans, and the snail that lives beneath the watering can left a full poem in trails across the seed packet.

I moved the marigolds again. They didn’t mind. They’re used to me fussing with things I’ve already planted.
