Had a big idea during tea.Forgot it while reaching for the biscuit.The shortbread was excellent.
The foxglove swayed for jazz.Lavender prefers silence, obviously.But I caught the dandelionsnodding along to 80s pop like they’d heard it all before.
The sky couldn’t make up its mind-so the clouds packed up quickly and left without folding themselves.
The wind took a sock and gave back a thought:nothing truly returns the way it left.
A petal fell into the compost bin.I felt less dramatic after that.
The socks are plotting something. One disappeared for a little while.I found it in the teapot , looking smug.
So I listened to the steam instead.
